Rabbit Run Inn is a 4 unit bed and breakfast inn, minutes from Warren Dunes State Park and the beaches of Lake Michigan’s eastern shore. Our guests enjoy a wide range of activities, such as beaching, bicycling, antiquing, visiting local wineries, fine dining, bird watching, kayaking and cross-country skiing.
We are a non-smoking, eco-friendly inn. We cannot accommodate pets and our guest rooms are furnished and appointed for adults. We welcome families with children and upon request can provide sleeping accommodations for a third person in the larger rooms.
Opening in May 2008, Rabbit Run Inn is designed to reward the discriminating traveler with a memorable visit to a serene, “woodsy” corner of the Midwest. A private deck or patio for each unit opens to beautifully landscaped grounds with a large natural pond stocked with koi – haven for the many native birds and creatures who visit. Rabbit Run Inn has two gazebos for lounging and star-gazing. Bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, towels and croquet sets are provided for our guests.
Each room has a queen-sized bed, sofa or sectional living area, plasma TV, WiFi, Ipod® Docking Station, wet bar, refrigerator, and coffee/espresso maker. Refrigerators are stocked with complimentary bottled water, juice and fruit. For guests staying two nights or longer, a complimentary bottle of local wine, Michigan cheese and flat bread greets their arrival. With many years of collective experience in hospitality services, we look forward to orient your vacation travels to local attractions, restaurants, galleries, antique sellers, wineries and natural sights. The innkeepers speak French (‘on parle français’) and Spanish (‘se habla espanol’).
We are a full season Inn, open twelve months of the year and so are well-situated to host small events, anniversaries, reunions, and intimate weddings (10-80 guests). Our experience with coordinating small events will benefit your plans; consider using Rabbit Run Inn for your next event.
