WINTERTIME TRAVEL
Rabbit Run Inn is conveniently located just minutes from I-94 (exit 12) by way of Red Arrow Highway, a major county road. Our parking lot and gravel pathways are kept plowed and shoveled so getting out and about is easy AND safe. We want all our guests to enjoy their stay at Rabbit Run Inn and enjoy the weather!
SAVE THE DATE
Saturday May 1, Rabbit Run Inn will host a wine and cheese reception at the Inn from 12 to 5pm as part of Art Attack, a weekend spring celebration of art, antiques, fashion and home décor (April 30-May 2). If you are in the area, do stop by; we’d love to show you some of our new additions to the rooms and grounds and catch up with your news.
RABBIT RUN “GREEN PROFILE” IN SHORE MAGAZINE
We recently participated in an interview for an article to appear in a future issue of Shore Magazine (http://nwitimes.mycapture.com) on green businesses in Michiana. One of our green initiatives is to direct guests and visitors to the several green business directories we participate in. Please copy and bookmark these directory sites… http://wvpe.org/green/ (South Bend/Elkhart); http://afreshsqueeze.com/ (Chicago); and http://www.sustainlane.com/ (nationwide)…and support green businesses in your area.
GRATEFUL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY
We appreciate the response to our invitation for friends and guests to gift their family and friends with a stay at Rabbit Run Inn. This year, we had a wonderful holiday response. If you are looking for a gift idea, consider a getaway stay. We will send you a gift card together with information about the Inn, seasonal activities in Harbor Country and area attractions. To learn more, send us an email or call the Inn at 269-405-1050.
FINAL NOTE
Yes, the koi are alive and well! A recent stroll to the pond found them “sleeping” just under one inch of ice. Other wildlife neighbors: a fox visited us in December (according to a guest); a new rabbit “warren” has been sighted near the driveway to the house… this final word from Lulu, our French bull dog and scout extraordinaire.
Have a happy February!
