AUGUST BEACH WEATHER
With average day-time temperatures in the low eighties and evening temperatures in the high fifties, August is a splendid month for the beach. Sunset times in August are 8:45 (beginning of August) and 8:20 (end of August). Reports coming to the Inn from our guests tell us that this summer on the lake the swimming has been the best in several summers with water temperatures in the 70’s. Rabbit Run Inn guests enjoy the close proximity of Warren Dunes State Park, Weko Beach, Cherry Beach, and Grand Mere State Park.
HARVEST TIME, 2010
For a list of local farm stands, farmers markets and organic sources of fresh fruits and vegetables, go to
Local farm stands. Nearby farmers’ market is in Three Oaks, Michigan, Saturdays in August and September. Farm stands are open most days – week days and weekends – as long as the harvest lasts, usually well into September.
We have some availability left in August… Call the Inn now to reserve your summer getaway!
