DESIGNS FOR DIGNITY KITCHEN WALK, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13
Designs for Dignity Kitchen Walk, an annual fundraising event for area design initiatives benefitting the community, will occur Saturday, October 13. Our suggestions for holiday trimmings shopping are Sawyer Garden Center (http://www.sawyergardencenter.com), minutes from the Inn and Pinecrest Christmas Tree Farm in nearby Galien (http://www.pinecrestchristmastreefarm.com/) where you can pick and cut your own tree.
The folks at Pinecrest and Sawyer Garden Center will help secure your tree for the return trip. Also, at both destinations, you’ll find a great assortment of holiday décor, ornaments and lights.

Several guests have passed along dining recommendations for future visitors who embark late Friday from the Chicago area to the Inn and need to stop for dinner “along the way”.
